E-consumption's business model changes how today's Digital Economy works. The giant platforms will be limited to acquiring new customers. That will be their main role. Once customers hook into a product’s private Connected Consumption services, each company will serve and deliver to customers every minute. They won't need the giant platforms to advertise to them (through Google and Facebook) or sell them (through Amazon).
E-consumption is cloud-based and scalable so it could rapidly add many vendors and millions of customers — especially if cloud platforms turn Connected Consumption into simple additions. These direct and secure relationships exclude platform surveillance and competitors. Working inside everything, this embedded connection replaces many digital advertising costs, e-commerce middlemen and distribution channels.

The Corporate First wealth model produces inequality that limits everyone's personal growth, which damages both people and companies.
The Inequality Crisis traps people and economies in a "Lower Growth" Crisis.

Artificial intelligence and robotics do more of the work.

Where is the world taking us? How will we live?
In 2001 at the first Internet boom, people spent only 6% of their time online.
In 2008 at the start of smart phones and mobility, we were up to 18% online.
By 2016 this increased to 37% of our time online.

The key point is this can be a Cloud Service.

An IP professor wrote that this is the most cited IP by patent examiners in the United States in 2017.

What's new? Connected products and services will add the bottom half to today's marketing.

This eliminates most of the giant platforms' advertising and e-commerce sales.
It also slashes costs for warehousing, inventory, logistics and retail churn — which increases Connected Vendors' margins and profits.
In 1776 Adam Smith introduced the "invisible hand of the market" in his economic classic, The Wealth of Nations.
With Connected Consumption, capitalism is about to evolve to the "Visible Market."
A Visible Market shows Connected Vendors what's needed, what works, what doesn't, and unmet needs.
This new business model is named Partnership Capitalism.
What's missing and blocked? The surveillance platforms and competitors — so customers and Trusted Vendors enjoy private relationships and quality lives.
For a first example, if a consumer wants to eat healthy food and live a healthy life, they can set the advertising and content on their devices to give them only the choices they want.
Second, if a person wants to help stop climate change, they can replace fossil fuel-based choices with renewable energy choices. Fossil fuels will diminish in a Digital First life.

Use patent research on the best ideas: If no one has a patent, it's yours. If that idea is patented, then patent the new applications and features you add.
Intellectual property will be your friend, and you will
lead the world for decades to come.
