Tech always disrupts itself. What's next?
Use private E-Consumption to disrupt surveillance advertising (Facebook and Google) and e-commerce (Amazon)
Learn how to leap ahead in this 22-minute TED-like keynote from ITES (IT European Summit)
As consumption turns Digital First, e-commerce will be replaced by protected E-Consumption, which bypasses the giant platforms:
TechCast, a Washington, D.C., virtual think tank, provides forecasts that help business and government leaders improve their strategic plans.
TechCast re-published this keynote's video with an article that says*:
E-consumption's business model changes how today's Digital Economy works. The giant platforms will be limited to acquiring new customers. That will be their main role. Once customers hook into a product’s private Connected Consumption services, each company will serve and deliver to customers every minute. They won't need the giant platforms to advertise to them (through Google and Facebook) or sell them (through Amazon).
E-consumption is cloud-based and scalable so it could rapidly add many vendors and millions of customers — especially if cloud platforms turn Connected Consumption into simple additions. These direct and secure relationships exclude platform surveillance and competitors. Working inside everything, this embedded connection replaces many digital advertising costs, e-commerce middlemen and distribution channels.
Check out the TechCast article and video. Start building your company's E-consumption now, to receive First Mover advantages. As the article puts it, "you, not the giant platforms, will help change the lives of billions in years."

New Era of Exponential Growth
Exponential Growth will benefit everyone

Thousands of Internet satellites will be launched starting in 2019.
By 2025, 2 to 4 billion more people will be connected, for a total of 5 to 7 billion connected people.
You will soon live and work on a Digital First Earth.
The way companies compete has changed.
Linear growth is obsolete, because Exponential Growth captures entire markets and industries.
Exponential Growth companies win. Linear growth leaders are replaced on the S&P 500 faster.
Linear is not an option.
After the Internet, the time to a billion users is just 6 to 12 years.
A more prosperous future will begin. A Digital First Earth will add Exponential Growth for everyone.
The next paradigm change could start this soon.
Journey 1: Corporate First
Exponential Growth companies win.
People and linear growth companies lose.
See 2:15 to 5:22 of the "Platforms of the Future" keynote
Where are the giant platforms really taking you?
Their Exponential Growth benefits them, while their surveillance threatens people. They also threaten companies by using advertising and transactions to sell their customers to their competitors.
Today's platforms aim to make themselves the gatekeepers of the Digital Economy. All people and other companies will have to work for them.
If they win, they will funnel the world's wealth to themselves for decades to come.
(Click any slide to see it larger)
When the giant platforms funnel wealth to themselves, that's a big problem for consumption-led economies like the United States, Europe and China.
The Corporate First wealth model produces inequality that limits everyone's personal growth, which damages both people and companies.
The Inequality Crisis traps people and economies in a "Lower Growth" Crisis.
"Corporate First" moves wealth to the top.
Artificial intelligence and robotics do more of the work.
The educated middle class is moved to the bottom.
Elites control "democratic" governments.
The resulting shocks will keep coming...
When a few elites win, another generation remains stuck while nearly everyone's lives and potentials are not fulfilled.
Instead, imagine a world where personal greatness includes everyone, and all people rise to the top.
Journey 2: People First
Exponential Growth for all:
People and many companies win.
See 5:22 to 13:40 of the "Platforms of the Future" keynote
This is a paradigm shift for what technology is and does: From "Corporate First" to "People First."
People and People First Companies become disruptors who use Exponential Growth to take social and economic leadership.
You and everyone benefit from Exponential Growth, and become the new leaders.
Where is the world taking us? How will we live?
In 2001 at the first Internet boom, people spent only 6% of their time online.
In 2008 at the start of smart phones and mobility, we were up to 18% online.
By 2016 this increased to 37% of our time online.
This is only starting. Next we will live and work in "always on" continuous connections.
(Click any slide to see it larger)
Here is the People First Platform where we will live. (The keynote explains four of its components quickly.)
The key point is this can be a Cloud Service.
That means many companies can add this platform. They can deploy it quickly and scale it rapidly.
They will transform their industries, millions of customers, employees worldwide, and global supply chains.
Its name is Expandiverse Technology, and it's already been cited over 800 times by others who create this future.
An IP professor wrote that this is the most cited IP by patent examiners in the United States in 2017.
The citations on this slide show you the R&D leaders that cite this as they create and invest in this direction.
What's new? Connected products and services will add the bottom half to today's marketing.
Trusted vendors will know what each customer consumes — and when, where and how they use it.
Vendors will deliver directly to each customer when and where their products are needed.
This will change how Connected Vendors operate.
Connected Consumers directly drive new real-time, fully Connected Supply Chains.
This eliminates most of the giant platforms' advertising and e-commerce sales.
It also slashes costs for warehousing, inventory, logistics and retail churn — which increases Connected Vendors' margins and profits.
In 1776 Adam Smith introduced the "invisible hand of the market" in his economic classic, The Wealth of Nations.
With Connected Consumption, capitalism is about to evolve to the "Visible Market."
A Visible Market shows Connected Vendors what's needed, what works, what doesn't, and unmet needs.
This new business model is named Partnership Capitalism.
What's missing and blocked? The surveillance platforms and competitors — so customers and Trusted Vendors enjoy private relationships and quality lives.
For a first example, if a consumer wants to eat healthy food and live a healthy life, they can set the advertising and content on their devices to give them only the choices they want.
Second, if a person wants to help stop climate change, they can replace fossil fuel-based choices with renewable energy choices. Fossil fuels will diminish in a Digital First life.
On the left: Advertising and content management expand to include media companies and nonprofits.
In the center: Connected Consumption expands to companies from threatened industries like retail and publishing, as well as specific companies in many industries.
On the right: IT services can add this to thousands of large, medium and small companies worldwide.
Implementation at Speed and Scale
How to add Exponential Growth to take the lead
See 13:40 to 15:52 of the "Platforms of the Future"
You've seen the paradigm shift from Corporate First to People First.
How do you add People First Exponential Growth so your company can take the lead?
Here are five of the principles of “Digital First Design.”
According to research, over 80% of your company’s value comes from your "intangible assets": That’s your patents, trademarks, copyrights, brands and reputation.
You already know the steps in innovating.
But do you know how to produce the most Digital First value… the most valuable “intangible assets”?
Atoms are used in industries like steel, automobiles, appliances and pharmaceuticals. It’s slow and expensive to do manufacturing, supply chain logistics, then sell and deliver every physical item.
When you focus on bits, computers create them in a nanosecond and deliver them instantly via networks.
Your bits go from need to delivery in a second, worldwide.
Develop your connected services and products. Give them trigger-based interactions. Respond instantly to each user inside their moments of need.
When you do this you sit on top of a new Visible Market: You know what's needed, when and where. You also see what works, what doesn't work, and the unmet needs.
In a Digital Economy, the most valuable position is to see its flow of data. This new Visible Market business model
is history’s first "Visible Hand of the Marketplace."
You see what is needed. You're the First Mover who builds and delivers it before others.
Companies that do this will lead the economy and the world.
When you add a digital solution for 10 people it will scale to 10 million. Then improve it and aim for a billion.
Leverage moving bits over networks to serve each customer in global markets, not products through supply chains.
The best solutions start with the top customer problems because these are the least likely to be patented.
Use patent research on the best ideas: If no one has a patent, it's yours. If that idea is patented, then patent the new applications and features you add.
Intellectual property will be your friend, and you will
lead the world for decades to come.

Where is the wealthy future we expected technology to deliver for everyone?
Because of the Inequality Crisis, your consumers are held back by limited wealth and consumption.
Because of the People Crisis, the pyramid funnels wealth to the top, limiting your growth in the future.
A People First Platform changes that.
When you make people super powerful, it will make you super powerful.
This could be a new stage of economic history.
We are entering history's inflection point for Exponential Growth.
Billions more people will connect by 2025.
You can now turn entire global markets into your direct, always on Connected Customers.
What will that economy and society look like?
It will enjoy what I call the "Big Flip."
We will flip from today's pyramid where almost everyone works for the few elites at the top...
...to a People First Pyramid where everyone can rise to the top...
...and we can do this without revolutions or attacking those already at the top.
A People First Digital Earth could build a world that systematically grows universal success.
With a People First Platform it will take only seconds to deliver humanity's combined abilities inside every moment of need.
Everyone will achieve above their full personal potentials.
Many companies are already working toward pieces of this platform.
Parts of your roadmap could in a People First Platform.
Here's your takeaway from this keynote: Start with Connected Products and Services, because that will give you People First advantages first.
Then you can use that to grow your People First Platform.
Digital Convergence is coming, and it will be deadly for those who are late.
First Movers will get the best tech, IP and partners.
There are three ways to add a People First Platform. In the order of speed, these include:
Acquire the technology and companies that do this.
Partner with those who can provide this.
Build its pieces yourself.
Where is the wealthy future we expected from technology?
It is right here, and it's now. It is you.
As you enter the Digital First era, CIO's, CTO's, CMO's and Innovation Managers will drive the success of companies.
You can be the First Mover who adds People First technology and takes the lead in your industry.
Then you can sell the People First paradigm shift as a Cloud Service that benefits many companies and millions of consumers.
When you move your company to the center of markets and people's lives, you will move your seat to the head of the table.
You might even find yourself leading the world.
Don't copy a leader. Be the leader.
E-Consumption will replace Surveillance Advertising and E-Commerce.
Disrupt now and take the lead.
Your next step: Get in touch and become the leader
